What is Enclave?
It is Faith Hunter’s message board. Thorn St. Croix’s original home. A place of safety from battle dire. A gilded prison. A place to study and use leftover creation energy.
If you receive abusive mail off-list from list members, please let me know. I’m not looking for he-said, she-said, but issues that develop. It’s hard to know what goes on off-list if no one tells me, and decisions are hard to make if on-list comments are all I have to go by.
Off-limit topics please:
Politics. Material over a PG-13 rating. Anything else that people become insane over. And Hey, I know the Enclave books are about religion in the abstract sense. I know I can’t ban talk about it. But flaming, abusive emails, telling people they are going to hell if they don’t agree with you, are banned. Honest talk and opinions are welcome.
A few notes to get you started (with a tip of the hat to Kim Harrison!):
FSR1 is Faith’s Standard Response # 1—which is “I’m not telling.”
“Kirk vs EHI”—which means “I don’t agree with you, you don’t agree with me. Let’s respectfully drop the subject.” Shorthand? Let’s kirk this.
“Zombie Mules” are topics that will not stay dead. Watch out for them. They rise from mucky graves and drool slime all over the place. Some bite.
A final request from the overworked author manning this ship. Please trim your posts for those on digest. Change the subject line when it warrants it.
Try to keep it fun, people, and remember—no matter how much you want to believe, it’s only fiction. Except when it ain’t.

If this is your very first chat group, the link will take you to the Enclave front page, where you will be asked to join Yahoo!, and create a Yahoo! Profile. You don’t have to give out any personal info, and I recommend that you don’t. Also, to avoid spam, do NOT agree to receive anything from Yahoo! itself. Once you have a profile, then you can join the Enclave. The members chat among themselves, ask questions about BloodRing, and are the first to receive notice about new pics on the website, signings, and to receive spoilers (advance notice for upcoming books and info from the inside of future books.) I show up 2 times a day or so.
