Amy —  When writing Do you get ideas of the back story of some characters, how do you decide if those get turned into short stories. If not where do you get idea for your short stories.

Faith – Amy, I do, and I jot down notes but seldom go back to the notes. (See me rolling my eyes at myself here) There is a writing device I created called The Device of the Unanswered Question. It means an author is writing a scene and something happens that fits in perfectly with the scene, and the reader sees it but skims on by because but it fits with the action. That little mention of whatever it was gives the scene what is called Immediacy (another writer’s term, created by someone else). For instance, I mentioned in a book that Angie’s powers came on her very early and were extraordinarily powerful when they appeared. That meant nothing to the reader, but it gave me opening for a short where Jane and Beast help Big Evan and Molly control Angie and save their lives. The Device of the Unanswered Question. My favorite device for all series!

Roseann — Is there any chance we will get more adventures with Tridevi Investigations? Loved getting to know Dani, Marvin, Mable, and Sandra in Magic School for Geezers.

Faith – Maybe. I might decide to put a new group of existing and new novelettes and shorts together, and if so, I might do another. I don’t think a novel length book would work for them, but the shorts are delightful!

Aileen —  Roseann where did you find Magic School for Geezers? That sounds like a “must read.”

Scott  — Aileen, that’s in Dirty Deeds 2, recently released. Faith has two stories there… a Liz/Eli story and the geezers.

Roseann  — Aileen, it definitely is!

Brenda — Roseann I loved the geezers!

Faith — I love it when ya’ll talk among yourselves!

And remember, FINAL HEIR is out in SEPTEMBER in e-book and paper, and out in Audible in October.
Thank you Alisha for the correction. I truly have no brain!
