Hey Y’all!
Every writer takes a short break at holidays — except me. Until THIS YEAR, I haven’t taken time off over the holidays in 40 years. Count ’em. 40. That is two times all my fingers and toes together, and way higher than Beast can count! This year, I am still writing because of deadlines further out, but I am also cooking Thanksgiving meal for Hubs and me, and I — brace yourselves — I am planning to decorate for the holidays. The trees haven’t been brought from the attic in nearly a decade. Sooo… This should be fun. I don’t even remember what I have up there.
I am also taking time off from writing and deadlines, every evening, and reading for fun. Just FUN! First off is a lovely, lively romance by Deborah Blake. I don’t read much romance, and when I do, I like a little fun in my love! I am in the middle of Dangerously Charming (at Amazon) by Deborah Blake. Here is the cover. I also just finished an early copy of the newest Thieftaker book, a compilation of stories, new and old, from DB Jackson / David B. Coe. I LOVE this series and having all the shorts in one place is wonderful, especially since I hadn’t read all the previously published stories and these are great!
