a bit of the new

I’ve been a writing maniac ever since I got back from Dragon*Con. I am averaging 9 pages a day, but have to stop this week for the final read through on Raven Cursed. And you know what? I till love this book. Usually by now I am so tired of writingwritingwriting and rerererewriting that I hate a book! But this one is complex on all sorts of levels, and I *really* like it. Oh, it still has plenty of fights and some romance, but it’s got more. Jane learns so much about herself. Or maybe I should say that Jane and I learned so much about her!
I’ve also started a new short (about one of the men in Jane’s life) and CE Murphy and I are nearly done with the crossover novella about Joanne Walker and Jane Yellowrock. We had planned on an earlier release, but then we started talking covers and got all excited… Yeah, we’ll have it professionally done. We are waiting on a price from Mike, the artist who did the T-shirts and the arm bands and such. So… December??? Dang. I have a lot coming out in December!
I’ve broken down and hired a housekeeper to come in two times a month. Thursday is her first day. And if she doesn’t run screaming from the dust rhinos (big aggressive dust bunnies on crack), I’ll have help through March. We agreed she’d come for 6 months. Whew, I need help!

Cool interview about yours truly. Warning — tiny print! http://oberonslaw.com/

So looking forward to Raven Cursed!!! Cannot wait, I absolutely love your Jane Yellowrock series, which I picked up on a recommendation on Kim Harrison’s blog!
