This is a thank you to everyJane Yellowrock fan who bought her books and told others about them. You made something great happen yesterday. My publisher, ROC, bought a three book deal, all Jane Yellowrock, and now — thanks to you — there will be two Jane books a year, starting in 2012. Raven Cursed will be out in Jan. 2012, and book 5 (untitled yet) will be out in the fall! I am so psyched!
I also finished the short story about Rick LaFleur, and did the first draft of the proposal for the next JY novel, which I have to get kicking on by the end of March to meet the deadline!
Also — the AKA (Gwen Hunter) sold an old book back to the original publisher for their Direct To Consumer plan. This kind of deal is not one that I’ve ever heard of, but hey! I’ll take it!
The hubby had good news in his business, too, and yet, we found time to run Rocky Creek. It was muddy and icky, (see my FB page) but it was a fun ride!
