Quick, Shorts, Funny, and Sweet

I am behinder and behinder this week, so this will be the Quick: Kim Harrison’s new book, Pale Demon hit the shelves yesterday. Do you have yours yet??? It is OMGosh FanTasTic!
Shorts: I lost a chance to do a Jane Yellowrock-world short story last month, when the project fell through, and just got a much better opportunity for one yesterday. I am psyched! This should be a lot of fun!
My editor has a proposal on her desk for a stand-alone book with a secondary character from Jane Yellowrock’s world. She also has the proposal for 2 or 3 more JY books. I’ll keep you informed.
I have gotten nowhere on the Rick LaFleur short, but will try to get another section done by next week.
Funny: My washer and dryer are 20 years old, so we bought a lightly-used set yesterday from a friend. I now have a dryer sitting in the middle of my living room. It looks so funny sitting there!
Sweets: I have three orchids in bloom. The light is all wrong to take a pic, but I’ll get the hubby to take one tonight, if possible, and upload it tomorrow.
