I rode down with Misty Massey to RoundCon 2011.  There were people in fabulous costumes, gamers, games being run everywhere, and film and anime going on. And Misty brought homemade cookies, wonderful lemon – lavender cookies that will be mentioned in Raven Cursed. Do NOT ask me me how many I ate. I am too ashamed!!!!

The Con was a little light on attendees though, because there were 6 cons in the Carolinas and Georgia this weekend. But the good part of that, from the fan’s POV, was the chance to hang out with us writers. Waves to Pat!!!! Waves to Debbie!!!!! These two readers hung out at every panel we did, until finally Debbie gave out, and it was just Pat and five writers at the last panel. We laughed, had a fabulous brainstorming session, and had a great time!

And the best part of that for us writers — aside from the chance to visit with and make friends with readers, was the chance to make closer friends with each other. Waves to Christina Stiles, Elysabeth Williams and John Hartness. I tried to add in a shot of Kalayna Price‘s dog with a Skinwalker, below, but it phased out. Trust me, a dog with a pink wig is show stopper!
