A Few More Mountain Pics

Here are a few more pics to set you on the way for the weekend.

Big Creek on NC TN border

This creak is called Big Creek, which looks lovely and serene, but on rainy days, turns into a several mile stretch of continuous Class IVs and Vs to delight the hairheads! Number two is the cliff-face on the Upper Pigeon River in a still pool where tired paddlers rest and energetic paddlers push on through for the next excitement. You see where I fit in!

Standing Stones

Number three is a grouping of standing stones (nearly a circle) in Hot Springs, NC. Really neat!  Trees grow out of them, roots spreading around to engulf them.

And last, because we are getting ready for All Hallows Eve,  a bat, resting in the rafters by day.
