Trip to the Mountains, Part 2 (Day 1)

These are some shots the hubby took on Tuesday 14th, on the Pigeon River. The water was a low flow of 184 CFS (cubic feet per second), which made the river technichal Class IIs and IIIs. We were parked at our pal David’s place at Rapid Expeditions. And we had a ball!

At the top of a lovely little Class II+

Overlooking the Lost Guide rapid

Taking the Lost Guide (that's me behind the rock)

Playing in the central pour-over of Lost Guide

Accelerator--at the top

Accelerator, part way down
I survived the run, swam once at the top. Had a lovely trip!
And yes, the river is in book four of Jane Yellowrock.
Hugs,
Faith
