I am guessing that someone noticed that I haven’t replied to any posts lately. Wordpress took away my reply access, and Mike, the web guru, had to show me a backdoor in. Now I am all set to go again, but how weird is that?

I am delighted that Christmas is over. It was fun, but is always exhausting and stressful, and I never get much writing done the week of Christmas. This year it was no writing done at all! So I have my nose to the grindstone now (which sounds painful, doesn’t it?) and am getting back into the groove of Jane’s world.

Tommy is asleep on the couch and Tuffy is behind the back wheel of my desk chair, asleep. Even in dreams, Tuffy likes to live dangerously! I have to be *very* careful not to roll the chair back. He’s so close I’d hurt him! But it’s his fav place.

Hugs, yall!
Faith

About The Author

Faith
A native of Louisiana, Faith spent her early years on the bayou and rivers, learning survival skills and the womanly arts. She liked horses, dogs, fishing and crabbing much better than girly skills. Still does. A love of history and ancient writings excite her even more, perhaps because she can trace her own family tree back to William the Conqueror's invasion of England in 1066, later to Sehoy III, an American Indian princess, and to the gens de couleur libre, the free men of color in New Orleans at the time of the War Between the States. As a girl, she fell in love with fantasy and sifi, reading five books a week, and wishing she, "could write that great stuff." Teachers in high school convinced her she could, and she's been writing ever since, with a desire to see ultimate good fight and defeat ultimate evil, and humans as part of the battle. Faith now shares her life with her Renaissance Man (Ren) and their dogs.

Funny, my computer seems to keep me logged in. *Shrug* With up to 11 dogs here (Had a litter during the summer) and my office also my whelping room, rolling my chair back can be hazardous.

With a buppy or two on my lap, or pulling shoe laces, or an adult nudging my arm, or…I don’t get a lot done here unless the door is closed and puppies are gone.Let’s add buppy chewing computer cords and chasing the dangling mouse.

Actually enjoying break, good time to work on kitchen, but I have some 200 orchids clamoring to be divided, as well as bromeliads, cycads and … plant zone zen.

Enjoy your New Year’s! I am just waiting until Jane myself. Uber character.

    Hey Faith, Glad you’re back.

Gus is the same way as Tuffy, he’s normally right behind my desk chair. I don’t know how many times I’ve almost flattened him!

A question? Why do we have to “log” in to the blog site whenever we want to make a comment? Most blogs don’t ask you to sign-in. I tend not to comment because I can never remember my sign-in info.
