Edisto Island

Morning, Ya’ll. It is glorious here on Edisto Island. The RV is parked facing into the tidal marsh, the waterbirds are feeding in the low water, the sun is shining, and while not as warm as yesterday, it is lovely. Quiet. A bit of heaven.

Yesterday, the hubby and I tried to wear T&T out with a 2 mile walk — farther than any they ever took. It is a testament to their improving state of health and stamana that they did not get worn out and were ready to walk again after drinking a little water. Nonethess, they were put into their beds (big pens) for their afternoon nap, which lasts about 4 hours, and the hubby and I went down the river and into the sound to watch birds, paddle with the dolphins, and rest. It was soooo wonderful! One time two playful dolphins breeched within 2 feet of hubby’s kayak. He nearly peed in his pants! I didn’t have the camera ready and so didn’t get the shot, but it was amazing!

Having fun, writing as often as I can as I work through a tricky part of the next Jane Yellowrock book. It is going to be great!
Hugs,
Faith

About The Author

Faith
A native of Louisiana, Faith spent her early years on the bayou and rivers, learning survival skills and the womanly arts. She liked horses, dogs, fishing and crabbing much better than girly skills. Still does. A love of history and ancient writings excite her even more, perhaps because she can trace her own family tree back to William the Conqueror's invasion of England in 1066, later to Sehoy III, an American Indian princess, and to the gens de couleur libre, the free men of color in New Orleans at the time of the War Between the States. As a girl, she fell in love with fantasy and sifi, reading five books a week, and wishing she, "could write that great stuff." Teachers in high school convinced her she could, and she's been writing ever since, with a desire to see ultimate good fight and defeat ultimate evil, and humans as part of the battle. Faith now shares her life with her Renaissance Man (Ren) and their dogs.
