Daily Musings
Just a random update on everything including Poms and writing.
First, the weather is fantabulous. Warm sun, with a slightly cool bite in the air. Beautiful. Makes me want to be on a river somewhere, but nothing is running and I have writing anyway. No sigh here, just the facts.
The Poms are up to a one mile walk, (which they totally love!) two times a day. I didn’t get them weighed until yesterday, but if feels like they have both lost a few ounces already. Right now they are sacked out beside my writing chair breathing the heavy breath of the fat and out of shape, but happy dogs. I am using the walking time to get myself in a bit better shape, too. I haven’t walked since I broke my foot. I feel better already.
The vet visit… Oy…. They got the works, including blood work and urine, with the final bill of slightly less than a week’s pay at the lab. Overall they are healthy, however Tommy has intermediate periodontal disease and Tuffy has advanced periodontal disease. Both are scheduled for dental extractions and cleaning in November. I am guessing that will cost me nearly double what I have spent. And I don’t really care…
I on page 87 of book three in the Jane Yellowrock series. LOVING it! All the characters are tossing me lots of surprises and it is so much fun!
Back to work.
Hugs,
Faith

Tyhitia, yes, there will be three books for sure. Then, well, I don’t know. Sales drive a writer’s carreer, as always!
Maria, they look so pretty! They are so sweet! They want to be held and loved. Yeah, so sad they will be toothless, but I can live with that.
I’m glad that the poms are doing better, I’m sure as they lose weight that they will feel better and breath better. Shame about the teeth.
Wow, you are taking excellent care of those dogs.
Glad you’re writing that 3rd Jane Yellowrock novel.
Will there be more?
