Updates on the Road

As opposed to about the road, though I have a comment on that too. Ten things about this trip:

1. Tuffy peed in my shoe last nigth. While I was wearing it. And up my PJ leg.

2. TomTom discovered the dashboard of the RV and claimed it as his, thoughhe did let his brother up there eventually. Pics next week.

 3. Met a great wait-person, Brian Adcock, in a wonderful gumbo restaurant in New Orleans. Decided to put him in the 3rd Jane Yellowrock book, but under his middle name. Charming guy.

4. The roads are great north of Atlanta, not so great, to downright awful, south of Atlanta. Wonder why that is?

5. My family is a sickly bunch this year. Another family member is scheduled for an MRI with a probable tumor. I’m praying already!

6. I don’t exercise enough on the road. Of course, I don’t exercise enough anytime, so why should that surprise me?

7. There is a water tower on I-85 that is painted to look like a peach. Supposedly. Always looks like a shiny hiney me.

8. Dog breath is bad enough in dogs with good teeth. Really horrible in dogs with horrible teeth.

9. The RV stinks like dogs. I’ll be getting out the steam cleaner next week.

10. I will be home by late afternoon! Whoowhoo!

Hugs,
Faith

About The Author

Faith
A native of Louisiana, Faith spent her early years on the bayou and rivers, learning survival skills and the womanly arts. She liked horses, dogs, fishing and crabbing much better than girly skills. Still does. A love of history and ancient writings excite her even more, perhaps because she can trace her own family tree back to William the Conqueror's invasion of England in 1066, later to Sehoy III, an American Indian princess, and to the gens de couleur libre, the free men of color in New Orleans at the time of the War Between the States. As a girl, she fell in love with fantasy and sifi, reading five books a week, and wishing she, "could write that great stuff." Teachers in high school convinced her she could, and she's been writing ever since, with a desire to see ultimate good fight and defeat ultimate evil, and humans as part of the battle. Faith now shares her life with her Renaissance Man (Ren) and their dogs.

Yeah, that water tower on I-85 does look like a shiny booty…lol. My hubby pointed it out to me. ;-)
