Road Trip and POMS!

I am getting so excited! I am packing for the trip to the deep south, trying to remember what clothes are appropriate for New Orleans this time of year. It will be a whirlwind trip, with the daylong side trip to my aunt’s to pick up the Pomeranian brothers she has been fostering and can no longer handle. She is going into a hospital in Texas for tests that will be extensive, leaving the hubby and remaining 4 poms in an RV in the parking lot. So I get the brothers! I am making little squeeee sounds all the time!

More importantly, from a professional standpoint, I will be getting in a whole day of research in New Orleans. I haven’t been badk to the party-hardy city since Katrina, and I am looking for some info, places, and background. Whew! It will be great fun! However, when I sign out this evening, I may not be back for over a week, until Monday, Oct. 26!
