Good Stuff

The last couple of days have been filled with good stuff. One of my brother-in-laws does *not* have cancer, we are rescuing two new poms next week, and the writing is going well. So well, I am not stopping for the day yet, and it is already after 7 p.m.
But just for you, a pic of me on an outcropping of rocks on the water of the Catawba.
It was warm, and I was wearing capris and a T. Last lovely day of early fall. See me? Hiding behind the leaves?
The outcropping had been dynamited at some point in the past. There is a railroad upstream a ways that Sherman burned during his scorched-earth-policy-march through the South during the Civil War. The water is deep there, making a mill unlikely, but maybe there was a barge ferry there…? Interesting.

Thank you. His surgery is today. Saying a little prayer…
Glad to hear that your brother-in-law is doing well.
